the room was very spacious. i found a comfortable bed and enjoyed a restful sleep. the air filtration device and portable heater worked perfectly. the hotel offered a nice breakfast buffet with traditional english options and delicious croissants.

the window only opened a little, so it was hard to get a good breeze.

the room was huge and it was super clean when i arrived.

the ongoing refurb work caused intermittent building noise, this was disruptive to any rest i tried to get. the king bed was actually two smaller beds pushed together and it was not possible to sleep in the middle.

The location was very central. The bus to the airport stoped just outside. I found friendly, professional staff. The hotel building had history, which I liked.

I had difficulty with access because there was no step-free entry up to the hotel entrance.
