a good sanctuary
spacious room comfortable bed english options nice breakfast
the room was very spacious. i found a comfortable bed and enjoyed a restful sleep. the air filtration device and portable heater worked perfectly. the hotel offered a nice breakfast buffet with traditional english options and delicious croissants.
the window only opened a little, so it was hard to get a good breeze.

breakfast provided a wide array of options, from traditional english fare to continental pastries, to suit various palates. the lobby and common areas showcased modern décor and were consistently well kept, giving a very cute ambiance.

building noise parking charge
the room was huge and it was super clean when i arrived.
the ongoing refurb work caused intermittent building noise, this was disruptive to any rest i tried to get. the king bed was actually two smaller beds pushed together and it was not possible to sleep in the middle.

great central stay
spacious room early check-in
my room was spacious and very clean. the staff let me check in early and also store my bags. this allowed me to explore the area without any luggage.
the hotel has ongoing exterior refurbishment work. there was intermittent building noise during the day.

the hotel features an interesting architectural design and a beautiful main staircase. the reception area offers a cute space . i noted orchids on the reception desk.

the hotel's location is quite central near the station. it is a short walk from many business and government buildings. i found it convenient for exploring the city center.
